Dear Parents and Students,

It’s almost time for school to start and I can’t wait for the new year at Heritage Digital Academy to begin. I look forward to seeing our returning students and getting to know our new students. We have a busy, challenging year planned and it’s right around the corner!
The first two events on our calendar are the parent meetings. Parents should choose one of the meetings to attend. We need at least one parent to be there and to bring a driver’s license (for the computer check-out). If someone other than a parent will be helping your student with his or her schoolwork on a regular basis, it would be a good idea to bring him or her too. If you can’t make the meeting, please let us know right away.

High-speed Internet access
Laptop bag that can store a laptop computer and a binder
1 ½ to 2-inch binder, preferably one that zips up
8 binder dividers with 2 pockets, preferably clear so you can see what is in them 3-hole pencil case to be placed in the binder Pencils Blue or black and red pens Highlighters A ruler, preferably one that can be kept in the binder Notebook filler paper Colored pencils Post-its (medium to large size)

Uniforms

HDA students need to wear a blue uniform shirt while on campus. We are working with True Grits for school uniforms and trying to get their website updated for HDA. True Grits can be contacted by phone at (858) 535-0022 or online at www.truegrits.com. We will have uniform updates at the parent meeting and there will be a grace period at the beginning of school to allow everyone time to get uniform shirts.
